I am a keen racegoer and one of the pleasures before going to the track is finding a good pub near by to enjoy a few pints and have a last check over the form (then change your mind when you see the beast in the paddock).  Then there is nothing better than to return triumphantly after a successful days punting and buy there best bottle of red wine and a few nips of their finest malt. However, and I am sure I'm not alone in this, whenever I visit a track for the first time I always pick the wrong pub to goto through lack of local knowledge and end up in a place packed with a coach load of drunken day trippers. This is where I ask any of you to email me with the names and locations of the best hostelries for pre & post racing refreshments.  I will add these suggestions to the table below, which I started with my local track.
